How I coach
You'll do most of the talking. I'll ask the questions you haven't asked yourself.
You will leave with a clearer sense of who you are, what you want, and what to do next.
Coaching is about you. But who you choose to sit across from matters. My experiences shape what I notice, what I question, and the perspectives I bring.
I’ve worked inside organisations like yours.
I spent 20 years in global pharma. Led cross-functional teams. Ran major transformation programmes. Influenced decisions at executive level. Worked across countries and cultures. Was asked to lead teams that hadn’t always found it easy to work together. And learned how to get things moving in organisations where change can be slow and the politics complicated.
So I know the realities behind the organisational chart: the difficult stakeholders, the competing agendas, and the unwritten rules. I understand the politics without assuming you have to play into them. I also know how much trust, relationships and judgement matter when you’re trying to make things happen.

I see the person, and what’s happening around them.
Psychological depth is important to how I coach, and something I invest in through continued training. My approach is particularly influenced by Gestalt and systemic thinking. This gives us different ways to explore patterns and connections that may not be immediately obvious. How deep we go, and how we work, will always be guided by what you need.
And while you can’t change other people, I don’t believe that means everything is yours to fix. We are all shaped by the systems we work in, including their relationships, expectations and power dynamics. Understanding what’s happening around you can help us see more clearly what you can influence, what you can’t, and what one step towards better might look like.
I know what it means to succeed without fitting the mould.
I’ve studied and worked across countries and cultures, often without looking or sounding like the obvious person for the room. At various points, I’ve been younger than expected, not had the degree someone thought I should have, or simply not behaved quite like they imagined I should. None of that stopped me building a successful career and becoming a VP. I didn’t have to become someone else, or learn to smile less along the way.
That experience shapes how I coach. I’m not here to help you become a more polished version of what you’ve been told a leader is supposed to be. I’m here to help you work out how you want to lead, work and succeed. You can learn to navigate the system without letting it decide who you need to become.
